Load shedding Paragraph in 200 words
Electricity is the main driving force of modern civilization. In areas where electricity is supplied, everyone is familiar with the term load shedding. Load shedding or power outage means shortfall or interruption in uninterrupted power supply. It has become a casual affair in our country. Load shedding occurs for various reasons. Inadequate power generation and unplanned distribution are more responsible for load shedding.
Load shedding is a curse when people are used to living on electricity. Industrial areas are suffering due to load shedding. Production is disrupted due to a lack of electricity. Factory production has decreased. Suddenly the streets were plunged into darkness, the great shops and bazaars lit up with the dim light of lights, charge lights and candles. Prolonged power outages spoil fresh food stored in the refrigerator. In particular, various solutions and drugs stored in controlled temperatures and refrigerated laboratories are at risk of spoilage. Thieves and pickpockets roam the streets freely.
Load shedding Paragraph in 100,120,150,200,250 words for SSC & HSC 2024
The suffering of students is indescribable due to load shedding which disrupts their studies. The curse of load shedding does not spare hospitals either. It is impossible to describe what the patient will be like if the power goes out during an emergency operation.
Moreover, people cannot sleep in the extreme heat during summer. Overall, load shedding adversely affects the economy of our country. So to avoid load shedding problem all concerned should take joint initiative to generate sufficient power. The government should build more power plants and contract reactors with nuclear power countries. Because a lot of electricity can be produced from this reactor. Apart from this, by stopping illegal connections, system loss and power wastage, we will be able to bring load shedding to the minimum level.

Load shedding Paragraph in 200 words
Load shedding Paragraph for HSC
Loadshedding in Bengali means power outage, which refers to sudden interruption of power supply. This is a hot topic these days because many of us have not faced this situation since we grew up. Before 2010 we often faced load shedding. At that time, people conducted their daily tasks using kerosene lamps, lanterns or candles, and many had to study again. However, we are facing the same problem now, even though some people have installed IPS or generator systems in their homes.
Several factors contribute to the increase in load shedding. These include declining power generation, high power demand, power wastage and external factors such as the Russia-Ukraine war. Furthermore, there are logical reasons for load shedding, such as electrical fires or floods where electricity is supplied. Interruption of the power supply due to extreme heat is also a contributing factor. This summer, we are facing various problems due to frequent power outages, and one notable problem is disruption to students’ studies.
Moreover, due to power outages, factory production is severely affected, which will have a huge impact on our economy. Additionally, load-shedding creates opportunities for crime rates to increase as people can commit crimes under the cover of darkness. Overall, load shedding poses significant challenges and affects many aspects of our lives, including education, the economy, and public safety.

Bangladesh was supposed to get power from Rooppur power plant in 2020 but it was postponed to 2022 due to the coronavirus epidemic and various reasons. But I hope this crisis will pass soon. Because Bangladesh is achieving 100% power generation capacity.
On the other hand, inadequate power generation is currently being blamed for area-based load shedding. The demand across the country is 14,000 MW but the production is only 11,000 MW. Power distribution companies are meeting the remaining power shortage through load-shedding
Besides, power wastage and the Ukraine-Russia war are seen as reasons for the increase in global energy prices. As a result, the consumption of electricity in production has increased. And this is disrupting the electricity supply in many countries. Apart from global economic factors, electricity wastage is another reason for load shedding. As a result, our precious power resources are facing a crisis.
We understand what happens when there is no power from load shedding. So the current government has taken various steps to reduce electricity consumption, including reducing electricity consumption in government offices by 25 per cent, trying to hold official meetings online and reducing the use of private vehicles for student transport. We all know that energy is required to produce electricity.
But in the current situation, the country’s economy may be damaged if the electricity is produced by buying fuel at a high price. Therefore, the government’s focus is on permanent solutions, i.e. savings. So we all have to be aware from our own place to prevent wastage of electricity.
Buying expensive fuel for electricity generation can harm the economy. That’s why the government focuses on long-term solutions and energy savings. We all need to be aware and prevent electricity wastage by avoiding unnecessary use of appliances.
By reducing wastage, we can overcome this situation. We don’t know when the global situation will improve, so let’s be mindful and save electricity for the country’s sake and our own.
