মাঠে নমাজ পড়ায় রিজওয়ান বিরুদ্ধে ভারতীয় আইনজীবীর অভিযোগ

পাকিস্তানের প্রমুখ ক্রিকেটার মহম্মদ রিজওয়ান বিশ্বকাপ ম্যাচের সময় মাঠে নমাজ পড়েছেন। এ ঘটনা নিয়ে ভারতীয় আইনজীবী বিনীত জিন্দল অভিযোগ জানিয়েছেন আইসিসির কাছে।

ভারতীয় আইনজীবী বিনীত জিন্দল মনে করেন যে রিজওয়ানের মাঠে নমাজ পড়া উচিত ছিল না এবং তার জন্য আইসিসিকে কঠোর পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া উচিত। কিন্তু পাকিস্তান ক্রিকেট বোর্ড বা আইসিসি এ বিষয়ে এখনও মন্তব্য জানায় নি।

অভিযোগপত্রে জিন্দল দাবি করেন, গত ৬ অক্টোবর হায়দরাবাদে নেদারল্যান্ডস-পাকিস্তান ম্যাচর মধ্যেই নমাজ পড়তে দেখা গিয়েছে রিজওয়ানকে। অনেক ভারতীয়ের মধ্যে নমাজ পাঠ করে ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে নিজের ধর্মকে তুলে ধরেছেন পাকিস্তান তারকা। যা খেলার স্পিরিটের বিরোধী। তিনি যে কাজ করেছেন, তা ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবেই করেছেন। তিনি বার্তা দিতে চেয়েছেন যে তিনি মুসলিম।

ভারতীয় আইনজীবীর দাবি, মাঠের মধ্যে নিজের ধর্মকে যেভাবে তুলে ধরেছেন এবং গাজার মানুষকে জয় উৎসর্গ করেছেন, সেটার মধ্যে দিয়ে রিজওয়ানের ধর্মীয় এবং রাজনৈতিক মতাদর্শ আরও স্পষ্ট হয়ে গিয়েছে। অথচ বিষয়টি নিয়ে দায় ঝেড়ে ফেলেছে বিশ্ব ক্রিকেটের নিয়ামক সংস্থা। রিজওয়ানের বিরুদ্ধে কোনও পদক্ষেপ করা হয়নি।

Pakistan’s leading cricketer Mohammad Rizwan prayed on the field during the World Cup match. Indian lawyer Vineet Jindal complained to the ICC about this incident.

Indian lawyer Vineet Jindal felt that Rizwan should not have prayed on the field and the ICC should take strict action against him. But the Pakistan Cricket Board or ICC has not commented on this yet.

In the complaint, Jindal claimed that Rizwan was seen praying during the Netherlands-Pakistan match in Hyderabad on October 6. The Pakistani star deliberately highlighted his religion by offering namaz among many Indians. Which is against the spirit of the game. He did what he did deliberately. He wants to convey that he is a Muslim.

The Indian lawyer claimed that Rizwan’s religious and political ideologies became more apparent in the way he portrayed his religion on the field and dedicated the victory to the people of Gaza. However, the governing body of world cricket has shied away from the responsibility. No action was taken against Rizwan.
