Victory Day of Bangladesh is 16 December. After a glorious nine-month war, Bangladesh was victorious against the Pakistani forces in 1971. Earlier Bangladesh was part of Pakistan and was known as ‘East Pakistan‘. But the ruling ‘West Pakistan’ is doing injustice to the people of Bangladesh.
And gradually the state became unstable against the ruler. Finally, on March 26, 1971, the Pakistani ruling group killed the people of Bangladesh in Dhaka. And the country is plunged into war. This war is known as ‘liberation war of 71’. In the entire war, Pakistani forces killed more than 3 million Bengalis.
