My Homeland Bangladesh Paragraph For All Classes

Bangladesh is located on the shores of the Bay of Bengal in South Asia. It is surrounded by India on three sides. It became independent in 1971. Dhaka, a cosmopolitan city, is the capital of the country. Moderate climate prevails here. It is a riverine country. Rivers like Padma, Meghna, Yamuna, Surma, Karnaphuli etc exist in this country.

Paddy and jute are our main crops. People here are engaged in various professions. The villagers are mostly engaged in agriculture. There are day laborers, fishermen, potters etc. Most of the inhabitants are Muslims but about 15% of the population are of other religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism and Christianity. People are very hospitable together following some common social norms and traditions.

Households here are usually headed by husbands, although in some tribes women are the decision-makers in the household. Generally, monogamy is practiced and people now prefer to live in nuclear families (ছোট পরিবার). They celebrate some special occasions like Pahela Boishakh, Navanna and Pahela Phalgun with great enthusiasm and festivity.

Generally men wear pajama and punjabi and women wear saree and blouse. The county is rich in natural beauty and places of historical importance. So there are tourist spots like Cox’s Bazar Beach, Kuakata, Mainamati, Shat Gomguz Mosque, Buddhist Vihar etc.

এখানকার মানুষ বিভিন্ন পেশায় নিয়োজিত। গ্রামবাসীরা বেশিরভাগই কৃষিকাজে নিয়োজিত। এখানে দিনমজুর, জেলে, কুমোর ইত্যাদি রয়েছে। অধিকাংশ বাসিন্দাই মুসলমান কিন্তু জনসংখ্যার প্রায় 15% অন্যান্য ধর্ম যেমন হিন্দু, বৌদ্ধ এবং খ্রিস্টান। কিছু সাধারণ সামাজিক নিয়ম এবং ঐতিহ্য অনুসরণ করে লোকেরা একসাথে খুব অতিথিপরায়ণ হয়। এখানকার পরিবারগুলি সাধারণত স্বামীদের দ্বারা পরিচালিত হয়, যদিও কিছু উপজাতিতে মহিলারা পরিবারের সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণকারী।

Bangladesh is a small and beautiful country in South Asia, because of its natural beauty and beautiful flowing rivers. After a long war we got independence from Pakistan in 1971. We got this country with the sacrifice of millions of freedom fighters. December 16 is our Victory Day because on this day Pakistani forces surrendered.

And March 26 is our independence day because Ziaur Rahman declared our independence from Chittagong on March 26, 1971. We are the only nation that has dedicated its life to language and now 21st February is known as International Mother Language Day. More than 180 countries celebrate this day. Bangladesh is a very beautiful country.

আর ২৬শে মার্চ আমাদের স্বাধীনতা দিবস কারণ জিয়াউর রহমান ১৯৭১ সালের ২৬শে মার্চ চট্টগ্রাম থেকে আমাদের স্বাধীনতা ঘোষণা করেছিলেন। আমরাই একমাত্র জাতি যারা ভাষার জন্য জীবন উৎসর্গ করেছি এবং এখন ২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারি আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস হিসেবে পরিচিত। বিশ্বের প্রায় ১৮০ টিরও বেশি দেশ এই দিনটি উদযাপন করে। বাংলাদেশ অনেক সুন্দর একটি দেশ।
